Should Christians Choose The Chosen? · Aug 30, 2026
The Bible does not only argue. It shows.

The Bible does not only argue. It shows.
A manger is a sign. A lamb is a symbol. An altar is a table of blood and meeting. An ark carries the chosen through water that should have killed them.
Original readers lived with yokes, vineyards, cornerstones, and Passover. We do not. So we skim past the pictures God used to preach His presence, His judgment, and His mercy.
Neil Wilson and Nancy Ryken Taylor’s The A to Z Guide to Bible Signs and Symbols walks those images from Altar to Zion.
Swipe through. Then open Scripture. Let the pictures preach.
“Signs point or draw attention; symbols represent.”
